Alabama 2009 Derbies

This will serve as the complete 2009 Alabama Derby schedule. If you do not see your local derby here please PM me the date, location, and link to that derby. Also seeking promotor contact info, rules, payout, and winning derby results information. Your help is greatly appreciated.
I will be checking websites, such as Stoney Roberts and such, regularly for updates and post them on here. If you know of another promoter website, let me know.

Robersdale and Jasper are the closest one I know about to anniston, but they arent set for next year. Stoney Roberts hasnt set the schedual for next year yet.
And Im reserving it for the cool stuff about derbies, like someone payin more than 4-500 to win....lol Knowing Frank and crew, its gonna stay blank for the year.

i'm gonna be coming down for my honeymoon the week after may 16 is there any derbies around Centre around then? may think about bringing a car down.

i know the fair here in chilton county will be in september but i don't know what night the demo derby will be.

I was building a car for that show....but its not worth it anymore...want to build a box lincoln, come buy mine and I will even throw in my expertise on how to make it hold

a lot of work there. They can be built, but ya gotta do a lot of torching on the rear or they are a 1 hit wonder...straight to the ground...had a friend that felt they were good...3 years straight, 3 years to the ground

I would use that way before I use the wagon. I personally like the ford car, with the chevy drivetrain. They are hard to beat. Little bit of work, a lot of things just bolt into place. Last one I built, ran 3 hard shows before it finally was thrown to scrap. Pulled the nose down one time was all. No funny work on it either, just built right up against the rules.....
