The annual Kiwanis Krash Demolition Derby is Saturday at the Avi Resort & Casino Outdoor Special Events Arena, Laughlin, NV. Gates open at 3pm, the event starts with a parade of entries at 6pm. Grandstand seating, food, beverage, merchandise vendors. This is a fund raising event of the Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis Club. $3,850 in prize money in five places. Entries taken until day of event.

The only derbies near Glendale, are the State fair and Buckeye Derbies,

But most of the other Derbies in the state are only and hour or 2 away,

I think State Fair will be right on Halloween and Buckeye is typically 2 weeks later

are there any derbies close to cottonwood, AZ? I live in Illinois and want to go run a derby next year in AZ while i visit a friend i was in the Navy with. hope there are some one shot deals. dont really feel like loading the bed of the truck up, but if i have to, i have to........are they 80's shows, old iron? any help would be greatly appreciated as i would really like to make a trip.........thank you.

Hey Pontiac, I just found out the Yavapai county fair is Oct. 1-4 this year. That means that the derby is Sun. Oct 4. (Prescott Valley). We don't know who is running it this year but it sounds like it will not be the same guy that ran it last year. I am going to try to at least help get the word out so maybe we will have more than 7 cars show. I'll let you know as I find out more.
